Everyone is encouraged to take part in OilCity.

OilCity is a free resource and it is free to participate. Its success depends upon users adding their own thoughts, comments and recollections.

If you have something to say about anything to do with the North Sea oil and gas industry OilCity is where to say it.

You can take part by either commenting on an article or by creating a new article. There is no right or wrong and everyone’s opinion is both valid and valuable.

To comment on an article, simply search for what you have information about and if you find an existing article, use the links on the page to add your comments.

If no article exists relating to your contribution you can create a new one. To do this you will need to register as a user and then log in.

You must be aware of your responsibilities in law regarding the content and media that you submit.

Our role in this website is as a Publisher of articles which are related to the North Sea oil and gas industry; we do not edit or moderate material submitted by registered users.  We have provided clear contact details for anyone who objects to any content that has been posted by a registered user and we will monitor the contacts regularly. Upon receipt of a complaint, we will respond in a reasonable time to remove or disable access to any content which it is alleged is unlawful.
